The Uncertain Century Trilogy

The Twentieth Century started with certainty: Nations were built, Democracy was forged, Science was reading the book of Nature, Faith stood as proud as the British Empire: even the Communists had scientific Dialectical Materialism.

Then certainty faded: Nationalism led to war, elections to Hitler, Science to ideas that uprooted Time and matter, Faith wobbled, the British Empire and Communism alike ended with a whimper.

The Uncertain Twenty-First century started with everything in question from the existence of objects to the reason to live. “The Birth of Now” looks at where and why the modern world started and where it will end, ‘Beliefs’ covers the forces that have driven so many and “To squeeze the universe’ what exists and why it matters.
